The event theme for the 7th European Congress and Exhibition on Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) at the Palexpo Convention Centre in Geneva, Switzerland, was "Sustainable Mobility". The Congress was organised by ITS Congress Association in co-operation with ITS Switzerland, the Swiss Confederation and the Canton of Geneva on behalf of ERTICO - ITS Europe. Participants from all over Europe and the Middle East presented their strategic vision through to the technical implementation of ITS applications, from research and planning to the operational use of systems and services.
