GALILEO Conference, Brussels

Themed "GALILEO: New opportunities for companies and civil society”, Business Bridge Europe has organized a conference which will take place in Brussels on June 24th, 2008. The conference is aimed at bringing together GALILEO officials with stakeholders from public services, business community and civil society.

The conference aims at highlighting the following aspects:

  • Generate public and corporate awareness of the wide scope of services made publicly available by GALILEO
  • Demonstrate technological superiority of GALILEO versus GPS
  • Gather expectations of civil society as far as individual and collective services are concerned
  • Draw the attention of the financial services community to considerable investment needs called for by the GALILEO environment
Organizers invite representatives of the EU and its institutions, national public authorities and members of business and financial communities to lectures, talks, discussions and round tables.
